Great number of tyre sizes for the winter season

Boasting more than 400 winter tyre fitment approvals from leading car makers, Pirelli is the sole supplier of a considerable number of sizes for the upcoming winter season. An analysis of the most recent comprehensive price lists for all Premium Brands available on the German market, the market considered to have the most complete winter range, shows that Pirelli has many exclusive winter fitments that no other premium brand offer. Many of these sizes are approved by premium and prestige car manufacturers with some even receiving Original Equipment approval. For many models this gives Pirelli the fitment for both the summer and winter seasons. The exclusive items are split between standard car and SUV products and those employing run-flat technology mainly designed for BMW cars and SUV. Besides being exclusive, many of these sizes have also received  official approval from car makers, examples being the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Lamborghini Aventador, Jaguar XF, Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli, Mercedes GLO Class, Porsche 911 and Panamera just to name but a few. Regarding run-flat sizes, Pirelli confirms its segment leadership with across-the board availability of all fitments for all BMW Group models, including those for the new X5 with exclusive fitments for 19”, 20” and 21”, of which the 20” has recently received OE approval.
