PIRELLI: CANCELLATION OF MEDIOBANCA AGREEMENT SENT

Milan, 12 September 2017 – Pirelli & C. S.p.A. announces that today it communicated to the Chairman of the Agreement for the participation in the share capital of Mediobanca S.p.A. its decision to exercise the right to cancel the agreement – with effect from its natural expiry on 31 December 2017 – for all the 15,753,367 shares held and conferred to the agreement, equal to approximately 1.79% of Mediobanca share capital.
