Pirelli sells its stake in Intek to Quattroduedue for 5 million euros

Milan, 16 June 2008 - Pirelli & C. SpA sold today to Quattroduedue Holding BV its remaining stake in Intek SpA (n. 6,149,354 ordinary shares, equal to 1.768% of the company's ordinary share capital) for the amount of approximately 5 million euros.

The transaction was carried out in execution of the put&call agreement between the two companies signed on 9 January 2007.

Following the transaction completed today, Quattroduedue Holding BV owns n. 150,174,261 Intek SpA ordinary shares, equal to 43.181% of the share capital with voting rights.
