2020 Tuscan and Russian Grands Prix - Tyre compound choices

Milan, July 22, 2020 – Pirelli is bringing the following compounds to the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix (Mugello, Italy – September 11-13) and the 2020 Russian Grand Prix (Sochi, Russia – September 25-27).

WHAT’S CONFIRMED

Just three colours at each race in 2020, with five different compounds available: C1 is the hardest, C5 is the softest.

  1. Each driver must save one set of the softest of the three nominated compounds for Q3. This set will then be returned for those who qualify in the top 10, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race.
  2. Each driver must have one set of P Zero White hard and P Zero Yellow medium available for the grand prix and one of them must be used.
  3. Each driver has 13 sets available in total for the weekend. Drivers will have the same allocation of tyres at each event: two sets of hard, three sets of medium, and eight sets of soft.
