Ferrari Challenge IT

Mugello International Circuit, April 13th - The second round of the 2003 Italian Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy (eleventh edition) took place at the Mugello Circuit on Saturday April 12th and Sunday 13th. Forty Ferrari 360 Modena competed under a dark and rainy sky during the Saturday qualifying session: was a hard challenge made more difficult by the asphalt conditions that were always changing. But Pirelli P Zero (rain version) tyres provided enough safety to the drivers although the prohibitive track's conditions. On Sunday a sunny day saw Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy. Better conditions of the circuit allowed to the drivers to fight very hard: they gave many emotions to the car challenge lovers present here at the circuit. The protagonist of the day was Fabio Santaniello (Maranello Team). In the first race of the morning he drove faster than his team mate Alessandro Sebasti Scalera, while in the second race, in the afternoon, he won against the fierce and expert Stefano Livio (Forza Service Team).
