'Flying Start' and win For Pirelli in Srwc

Milan, March 26, 2000 - The Pirelli-fitted Ferrari 333Sp of the JMB Giesse Team and driven by Pescatori-Terrien scored an impressive win - Sunday, March 26 at Barcellona, Spain - in the 1st event counting for the SportsRacing World Cup (WRSC) 2000. Winning start of season, thus, for the same Ferrari JMB-Pirelli team which last year dominated the European series. Fourth and 5th position for two more Ferraris with Pirelli tyres: they are the ones of the BMS Scuderia Italia Team, thanks to Zadra-Peter and Calderari-Bryner-Zadra teams respectively.

It has not been a succesful dibut for the Pirelli-fitted Cadillac NorthStars of the Dams Team. The American cars resulted not yet technically ready and competitive for the start of the continental season and scored 7th and 8th place at the end of the Spanish race.
