Payment of a dividend for fiscal year 2001
The dividend for the year 2001 will be paid out on May 23rd, 2002, for an amount of 0.08 for ordinary shares and 0.0904 for shaving shares, gross of tax.
Tax credit regime: full tax credit, i.e. 56.25% of the dividend itself.

The payment will be made available through the banks affiliated to the centralized management system of Monte Titoli SpA.

A hard copy of the 2001 financial statements (January 1st to December 31st) is available at the company's headquarters in Viale Sarca 222 or at the Borsa Italiana SpA, pursuant to Art. 77 of the Regolamento Consob number 11971 of May 14th 1999. Minutes of the Shareholders' meeting will be made available as from May 16th 2002.
