Photo Finish - Phillip Island, Australia
The opening race of the Superbike World Championship was more than spectacular, having finished so close that it required a photofinish to determine the results. With just a 0.004 second advantage, Leon Haslam (Team Suzuki Alstare) took the win over Michel Fabrizio (Team Ducati Xerox). The last Superbike race with this close of a finish occured 11 years ago when Carl Fogarty took the win over Colin Edwards at Monza.
