Milan, 13 February 2006 - At the request of Consob, Pirelli & C. SpA states that a meeting of the Company's Board of Directors has been called for tomorrow, February 14, 2006, at 3 pm with the "Asset valuation project" as the business of the day. At the conclusion of this board meeting, the Company will provide the market with all opportune information regarding the decisions that may have been taken, in accordance with the relevant laws and the rules of corporate governance.
