Pirelli and Ferrari win at the 1000 km of Le Mans!

Once again a clear domination for the Ferrari - Pirelli: combination, pole position, best time in race and victory is the result of a winning week end ran on the legendary circuit of Le Mans. The Ferrari 360 Modena of team Cirtek Motorsport, on which alternated Philipp Peter, Andrea Montermini and Klaus Engelhorn, fought hard in the GT category against another car equipped with the Pirelli P Zero Racing tyres, the Porsche GT3 RS of team PK Sport, that led the race until 15 minutes from the end when it was hit by misfortune: a puncture forced Jean Pierre Belloc, at the wheel at that moment, to re-enter the box and to pass under the chequered flag in third position. From the beginning the race ran to a breathtaking pace with minimum distances between the contenders; considered that Cirtek Motorsport won from the Porsche driven by Ortelli of team Freisinger at only 14 seconds of distance after six hours of racing! Notable the ery good performances of Porsche in the first phase of the race, but at the end the Ferrari 360 Pirelli, thanks also to some good fortune, proved to be the best car in the category also on the long distances. A confirmation of excellent integration between the compounds of the Pirelli P Zero Racing tyres and the Ferrari 360. Podium LM GT Category:
