Pirelli At The Forefront Of Great Britain
Cardiff, 16 September 2005 - After three special stages of the all-gravel Rally Great Britain, round 12 of the World Rally Championship, the Subaru-Pirelli of Petter Solberg is second. The Mitsubishi-Pirelli of Harri Rovanpera is third, having set fastest time on SS2. The Peugeot-Pirelli of Marcus Gronholm won the first stage, but lost time on stages two and three with brake problems. Weather conditions today have been dry, cool and sunny and are expected to remain so until the end of the leg. The Pirelli runners have all chosen a variety of Pirelli P Zero K, KM and KP tyres so far. A further three stages are left to run today, making 17 stages in total before the rally finish on Sunday afternoon.
