PIRELLI COMES TO OSCHERSLEBEN

Following the positive results obtained at the Adria race last month, Pirelli is introducing some new variations of the PZero Racing tyre for this weekend's third round of the FIA GT Championship at Oschersleben, a race track located between Hanover and Magdeburg.

Some of these covers will be entirely new and specifically formulated for the German circuit, while others will be recently-launched products that made their debuts last month at Adria in Italy.
As Pirelli's Circuit Racing Manager, Dario Marrafuschi, points out: "Again, we will be bringing some new evolutions of our PZero Racing tyres to Germany. We've got some new compounds for the GT1 class, in which the PeKa Saleen S7-R is improving race by race, as well as the latest-generation constructions for the front tyres in GT2 - where the Pirelli-equipped Ferrari 430 GTCs are always very competitive.

The collaboration we enjoy with all our teams is helping us to constantly get the best out of our products, and I am convinced that our hard work to date will bring us some more good results starting in Germany this weekend."

Oschersleben is the final race before the season's most important event: the "Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours" that takes place at the end of the month. This race has always been good to Pirelli, with the Italian firm winning overall in recent years. In order to keep up this impressive record of achievement, some further tyre tests have been planned for later this month.
