Pirelli confirmed sole supplier for CIV Supersport 600

Pirelli has been confirmed as sole tyre supplier for the racing seasons 2015-2016 for the Supersport 600 class of the Italian Roadrace Championship. The Italian tyre manufacturer, in fact, won the tender organised by the Italian Motorcycling Federation overcoming the competition and confirming itself as sole tyre supplier for the third two-year period in a row. Pirelli will supply tyres to the Championship until the end of the 2016 racing season. Pirelli Moto Racing director Giorgio Barbier commented:  “We knew that this year our competitors would have made an extra effort to win the tender with very competitive offers. Nevertheless, we were confident that our products could offer unrivalled quality and that would have helped us to be confirmed once again as sole tyre supplier.  We would like to thank the Italian Motorcycling Federation for the confidence they have given to our company.  We will continue to strive to offer riders the best products, contributing to increase the quality and competitiveness of the Championship”. All riders racing on the Supersport 600 class of the CIV can count on the excellent performance provided by the DIABLO™ Supercorsa SC range, the same tyres which are also used in the Supersport World Championship.
