Pirelli exclusive supplier for Maserati Levante

Maserati’s first SUV, the Levante, made its début at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and represents a revolutionary statement in Italian style, design and technology. It is based on the Quattroporte and Ghibli saloon platform, with which it shares its engines, coupled to a four-wheel drive system with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. As is the case with every Maserati to leave the factory, Pirelli is the exclusive supplier for this latest model. On the Levante too, the Pirelli products are not only part of the original equipment of the vehicle, but they have also been specifically built and designed for maximum adaptation to the requirements of the SUV. This is a case of OE (Original Equipment) tyres, which are actually differentiated from the rest of the range by a series of very specific characteristics. First of all, the P Zeros had to be adapted to the basic specifications of the vehicle, which was developed from the same platform as the Quattroporte and Ghibli models. This means also four-wheel drive and automatic gear change.
