Pirelli informs about the release of 1st Half 2002 results

Milan, July 16th 2002 - Pirelli informs that the Boards of Pirelli SpA, Pirelli & C. Real Estate and Pirelli & C. will meet to examine draft and unaudited financial statements for the six months ended June 30th 2002, respectively on 26th, 29th and 30th July.
Hereafter the new scheduled dates for corporate events and planned financial announcements:

Pirelli & C.

July 30th 2002: Meeting of the Board of Managing Partners to examine draft and unaudited financial statements for the six months ended June 30th 2002;

September 11th 2002: (and not September 10th as previously announced): Meeting of the Board of Managing Partners to examine the report for the six months ended 30 June 2002 (The above document will be published by 13 September 2002 and, consequently, in accordance with art. 82 of Consob resolution 11971/99, the quarterly report for the second quarter 2002 will not be drawn up);

November 13th 2002: (and not November 12th as previously announced): Meeting of the Board of Managing Partners to examine the consolidated results for the third quarter 2002.

July 29th 2002: Meeting of the Board of Directors to examine draft and unaudited financial statements for the six months ended June 30th 2002;

September 10th 2002: Meeting of the Board of Directors to examine the report for the six months ended 30 June 2002 (The above document will be published by 13 September 2002 and, consequently, in accordance with art. 82 of Consob resolution 11971/99, the quarterly report for the second quarter 2002 will not be drawn up);

November 12th 2002: Meeting of the Board of Directors to examine the consolidated results for the third quarter 2002.
