Pirelli launches the wheel with the long P

PIRELLI LAUNCHES THE WHEEL WITH THE LONG P

The new Pirelli-branded light alloy wheels produced by Antera following the signing of the agreement between the two companies are presented in Germany.

Milan, 23 May 2006 - Pirelli has signed an agreement with Antera for the production of light alloy wheels characterised by an exclusive design based on the use of the long P from the Pirelli logo and ultra-lightweight engineering that gives the product extremely high stability.

The new wheels, due to go on sale first in Germany, will be sold exclusively with tyres from the Pirelli Ultra High Performance range and will also be able to be used with oversized brake systems.

Presented for the first time today in Germany on the occasion of the Essen Tyre Fair, the new "Long P" wheels are a modern and sophisticated re-edition of those Pirelli successfully launched in the 1980s and which immediately became a cult object for tuning enthusiasts.
