Pirelli podiums twice at Trois-Rivieres

Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Aug. 3, 2003 - Pirelli podiumed not once but twice in the fourth round of the American Le Mans (ALMS) season at the Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres today.

For the second-straight week, the Atlanta-based Essex Racing team of Jason Workman and Canadian Melanie Paterson drove their Lola B2K/40/Nissan to an ALMS podium finishing in second place behind current 675 class leader Jon Field.

After podiuming three times in 2002, Emanuele Naspetti and Mimmo Schiattarella drove the Olive Garden Ferrari 550 Maranello to a third-place finish in GTS and their first podium of the year

Fifth round of the ALMS is scheduled for Sunday, August 17, at the Grand Prix of Mosport near Toronto. NBC-TV will televise the 2-hour, 45-minute race beginning at 2 p.m. (EDT); Eurosport will provide same-day coverage in Europe.
