Pirelli second on Tour of Corsica

After two special stages of the all-asphalt Rally de France-Tour de Corse, round 14 of the World Rally Championship, Citroen driver Sebastien Loeb leads ahead of the Peugeot-Pirelli of Marcus Gronholm. The Subaru-Pirelli of Petter Solberg is fifth, but his team mate Chris Atkinson is stopped with transmission problems. Weather conditions today have been dry and sunny and are expected to remain so until the end of the leg. All the Pirelli runners have chosen the latest evolution of the RX5 tyre, which has confirmed the improvements seen in testing. A further two stages are left to run today, making just 12 stages in total before the rally finish on Sunday afternoon.
