Pirelli was rewarded as strategic supplier for the FCA Group

Pirelli continues to get recognitions worldwide for its state-of-the-art tyre production, in close collaboration with the major car manufacturers. In fact, during the “Supplier Qualitas Convention”, an annual event in which Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group rewards its best suppliers, Pirelli was rewarded as strategic supplier for the FCA Group. The FCA Group selected 18 suppliers out of over 1.000 for different awards from all around the world. Pirelli received the “Complete Value Chain Support” award for the constant support provided to the achievement of the FCA group’s goals. The partnership between the two companies involves not only road tyres but also includes racing tyres, especially for the Ferrari and Maserati brands. The prize was collected by Italy O.E. Director Claudio Parodi and it was presented by FCA Chief Operating Officer Europe, Africa and Middle East (EMEA) Alfredo Altavilla and FCA Head of Grous Purchasing Scott Garberdering, together with Maserati’s Head of Purchasing Marcello Bariani.
