Renault confirms Pirelli as partner for the Rally Trophies

Pirelli confirms itself as Official Tyre Supplier to the Renault Trophies. The successful technical and sport partnership between Pirelli and Renault dates back to 2009 and, during the last season, has seen over 100 Renault cars fitted with Pirelli tyres on race tracks. The Pirelli tyre range has proven itself to be one of the key factors for the success of the Renault Trophies, allowing drivers and vehicles to fully express their potential and to yield excellent results also in national championships. Ivan Ferrarotti is the only one of the many Renault champions who has chosen Pirelli as tyre supplier and who won the Italian Rally Production title for two years in a row, in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 Renault Italia will again offer a wide range of Rally Trophies to its clients, which underline Renault’s sport-oriented spirit and which will involve all rally categories, ranging from the Italian Rally Championship to the Rally Terra Trophy, from the IRCup to the Italian Cup. The rallies will feature many sport cars by Renault Sport, such as the last generation of the Renault Clio in its R3T version. Pirelli will provide the drivers with its P Zero RK range for asphalt rallies and its Scorpion K range for gravel rallies. Both tyres are the result of Pirelli’s experience in sport competition at the best national and international levels.
