Renewed the partnership between Inter and Pirelli

F.C. Internazionale and Pirelli extend their historic 20-year partnership in a new five-year deal. The Pirelli brand has been a feature of Inter shirts since 1995. The union is now into its 21st year and will stretch beyond a silver wedding anniversary, making it the longest running sponsorship in the world of Italian football and one of the most successful partnerships in the history of top European clubs. “Together Inter and Pirelli have won silverware at home and abroad,” said Inter president Erick Thohir. “We are proud to announce the continuation of a partnership that is both rooted in our glorious past and looking forward.” This solid and lasting relationship is built upon values which both brands have historically shared and which have defined their achievements down the years. “The extension of our partnership with Inter reaffirms our convergence on targets, strategy and our desire to compete, which have underpinned our 20-year association and will continue to do so going forward,” said executive vice chairman and CEO of Pirelli Marco Tronchetti Provera. “Pirelli is a global player and the passion that a historic club like Inter generates in the hearts of fans all over the world is an important asset in maximising our brand.” The new agreement will help further develop the two brands both in Italy and abroad, particularly in a significant market like China.
