SCORPION™ Trail II equips the new Ducati Multistrada 1200

The SCORPION™ Trail II, the new enduro street tyre by Pirelli, has been chosen as original equipment for the New Multistrada 1200. The Pirelli tyre will be fitted in sizes 120/70 ZR17 (front) and 190/55 ZR17 (rear) to the Multistrada 1200, Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 S D|air. Pirelli has worked closely with Ducati since the Multistrada project’s inception in 2003: the first version of the Multistrada was equipped with Pirelli’s SCORPION™ Sync. The new model in 2010 adopted again the SCORPION™ Trail. Now the SCORPION™ Trail II and the Multistrada 1200 pick up where their predecessor left off, strengthening the partnership between the two companies. Designed for the latest generation adventure touring and enduro street motorcycles able to cope even with long journeys and excursions with light off road sections, the SCORPION™ Trail II is a tyre with good road performance and also capable of tackling unpaved tracks. Created for the most demanding motorcyclists, it key features include high mileage, consistency of performance for its entire tyre life and excellent wet behaviour. The tread pattern of the new Pirelli tyre has an aggressive off road look, supported by strong technological innovation, offering good stability even at high speed, off-road traction, excellent handling, comfort and grip in all driving conditions.
