Test session concluded at Fiorano for the new Maserati MCC
Milan, January 16th, 2004 - Various test sessions are in progress in these days for the Maserati MCC, the new car destined to compete in the FIA GT Championship.
Andrea Bertolini, Ferrari Maserati test driver and champion driver FIA GT, is subjecting the Maserati MCC to a demanding schedule aimed at obtaining maximum performances, long distance reliability and optimal set-ups. On all these fronts the driver and the engineers of Maserati Racing Unit are working with the technicians of Pirelli Competizioni in order to obtain the maximum result from the P Zero tyres purposely developed for this new car.
In not ideal climatic conditions Andrea Bertolini has run today during 50 laps on the track of Fiorano (2,9 km) obtaining the best time of 1' 12"808.
