TÜV SÜD certifies that Scorpion™ Winter is the best

Scorpion™ Winter offers the SUV and crossover improved safety when braking and cornering on all the most treacherous surfaces that autumn and winter can provide. Pirelli’s new winter tyre ensures that the owners of heavier, more powerful vehicles enjoy full control under all conditions of use. In comparative testing against 4 rivals, the independent international certification body put the Scorpion™ to the test and awarded it “best in class” for its braking, grip and driving performance on the snow. The new Pirelli winter tyre was awarded top marks in these tests: indeed, it excelled in handling and braking tests on the snow, slowing from 50 to 10 km/h in 25.5 metres. Meanwhile, in the traction test on compact snowy surfaces it accelerated from 10 to 40 km/h in 2.32 seconds.
