WPP/GroupM has been chosen to manage the media activities
PIRELLI: WPP/GROUP M HAS BEEN CHOSEN TO
MANAGE
WORLDWIDE GROUP MEDIA ACTIVITIES
(PLANNING AND BUYING)
Milan, 17 November 2005 - In October and November, Pirelli negotiated with the leading media agencies on the market in order to define the most appropriate structure for management of strategic Group planning and buying activities worldwide.
The top three media groups in Italy and Europe participated in the tender: Aegis Media, Publicis Groupe Media, and WPP/GroupM.
It was decided that the project presented by WPP/GroupM best satisfied Pirelli Group requirements.
The WPP/GroupM structure that will take over all Pirelli Group media activities is Maxus - BBS.
