A BRONZE MEDAL AT THE NÜRBURGRING FOR THE PIRELLI-SHOD TEAM DINAMIC PORSCHE 911 GT3 R

Pirelli finished the Nürburgring 24 Hours on the podium, fitted to a Porsche 911 GT3 R entered by long-term partner, the Emilia-based Dinamic GT team, which was third at the flag at the end of a very close race.

It was an historic result for the Italian team run by Giuliano Bottazzi, and the drivers, Bastian Buus, Matteo Cairoli, Loek Hartog and Joel Sturm, who conquered the “Green Hell” with consistent pace and unwavering determination. Dinamic’s Porsche gradually made its way up the order, getting to seventh place on Sunday morning, then up to fourth and finally securing third place in the final two hours of racing.

“Congratulations to the Dinamic team, but I’d also say to ourselves,” commented Matteo Braga, Circuit Activity Manager Pirelli. “With them and the Porsche engineers, we’ve done a great job over these four years working together. We approached what is a fairly new race for us, with humility and dedication, gradually accumulating experience over the years, lap after lap. Having come close to a strong result a few times, we have finally reaped the reward for all our work. This also confirms the quality of the P Zero tyres, which offer performance and reliability, even on such a demanding track and with higher than usual temperatures.”

Worth noting among the other ten Pirelli-equipped cars in this race, a win in the SP8T category for the Dörr team’s McLaren Artura Trophy Evo.
