PIRELLI CONFIRMED TOP SCORE IN THE AUTO COMPONENTS AND AUTOMOTIVE SECTORS BASED ON THE ANALYSIS OF S&P GLOBAL FOR THE DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY INDICES
Milan, 25 November 2023 – Pirelli confirmed global Top Score in Sustainability for the Auto Components and Automotive sectors in S&P Global’s 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment.
This emerged from the results published by S&P Global, the basis for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability indices, which highlight how the score obtained by Pirelli, 83 points, is the highest of the Auto Components and Automotive sectors and markedly higher that the sector average of 26 points for the auto components and 33 points for the Automotive sector.
Pirelli obtained top scores in many areas of management. In particular, in the areas of Business Ethics, innovation, independence, diversity policy and at the Board level. And once again, for attention to human rights, health and safety, supplier codes of conduct, management of climate change, reduction of CO2 emissions, management of biodiversity, environmental sustainability of products and cyber security.
The update of the composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices, of which Pirelli is part, will be announced by S&P Global on 8 December 2023.
