PIRELLI OPENS 2024 BY DOMINATING THE INTERNATIONAL JÄNNERRALLYE THANKS TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE AND VERSATILE RANGE OF SOLUTIONS

Pirelli Motorsport 2024 opens with a clear victory in the first race of the year. P Lunga tyres took Michael Lengauer's Skoda Fabia to the top step of the podium in the Jännerrallye in Austria, which traditionally opens the European rally season. Not only that: the top eight positions in the overall standings were occupied by drivers who used Pirelli tyres for all or part of the race.

Terenzio Testoni, Pirelli Rally activity manager: "Once again we open the season with a clear victory. The greatest satisfaction comes from the confirmation that our range is the most complete available on the market, so much so that it was preferred even by drivers who had started with different tyres, and who during the race opted for our solutions to cope with the different conditions of the challenging track. Now head on to Monte Carlo, the opening round of a World Championship that promises to be interesting from every point of view".

At the Jännerrallye, dominated by Lengauer right from the first practice of the second day, the slicks P Zero RA were the protagonists on Friday in wet asphalt conditions, on Saturday the Sottozero STZ-B, designed to cope with mixed asphalt and snow conditions, while on Sunday on the high snow surfaces the Sottozero Ice prevailed.
