A new Pirelli rear medium tyre for demanding Most circuit

· A new medium solution for Most. For the fifth round of the FIM Superbike World Championship, taking place at the Czech circuit of Most - a track known for the high mechanical stress it places on tyres, particularly the rear, Pirelli is introducing the new F0468 rear specification in medium compound. This solution uses the same compound as the D0922, already used at Most in 2025 and at Phillip Island in the last two seasons, but pairs it with a new structure designed to deliver greater performance consistency over race distance and improved stability. The F0468 represents an evolution of the E0829, with which it shares the compound, and which was already brought to Phillip Island this year.
 
· D0922 as an alternative, SC0 for the Superpole. Should riders not favour the new solution, they will still be able to rely on the D0922 development specification for the rear, which has already proved well suited to the characteristics and unique nature of the Czech track and has also been used by riders at Phillip Island, another circuit that is particularly demanding on tyres. For qualifying and the Superpole Race, the reference tyre will instead be the standard soft SC0. 
 
· Supersport and SportBike complete the show. In addition to the riders in the Superbike class, competitors from the Supersport and SportBike World Championships will also take to the track at Most. At the front, the former will have the same options as their racing colleagues in the premier class, namely the soft SC1 and medium SC2. At the rear they will instead have the soft SC0 and medium SC1, the latter having been used throughout the season at both axles by SportBike competitors as well.

Targeted development for the most demanding circuits
 
“Over more than two decades as supplier to the Superbike World Championship, Pirelli has built an extremely solid and versatile tyre range. The SCX supersoft rear solution now represents an absolute benchmark for riders and is used in most races on the calendar, with the soft SC0 becoming a valid alternative on some occasions.
There are, however, some circuits that are particularly demanding on tyres, such as Phillip Island and Most, which by virtue of their layout and intrinsic characteristics require more specific solutions and more durable compounds, typically medium options.
In these cases, development work focuses on improving key parameters such as performance and consistency over race distance: objectives that guided the design of the new rear solution in F0468 specification.
To complete the allocation, riders will in any case also have the well-proven D0922 option available, which has shown that it can effectively handle the particular stresses imposed by this circuit. It will be interesting to assess whether the new F0468 medium will be able to raise the performance level beyond that of the D0922 further still”.
